Remembering David, adoption counselor and dear friend
A Note from the Maryland SPCA – Remembering David Carter
Our hearts are saddened as we mourn the loss of a dear friend and valued colleague, David Carter, who passed away on Saturday. David was a beloved and dedicated adoption counselor at the Maryland SPCA for 12 years, who worked hard to unite thousands of pets with their forever families.
David was a kind, humble man and cared deeply for every pet that came to the MD SPCA. Whether it was someone’s first, second or third-time adopting from the MD SPCA, David, “The King of Adoptions” was a great listener and was devoted to helping people find a pet that would fit best with their families and lifestyles. He was always positive and always willing to lend a hand to any of his co-workers without second thought. David was such a special part of the MD SPCA family and will be missed, tremendously.
For many of you, David assisted you in adopting your pet(s) from the MD SPCA.Please help us honor David’s memory and his commitment to pets and people by sharing your adoption stories of David. We are collecting these photos to create a memory book in David’s honor. Many thanks to those who have already submitted memories and photos through Facebook.
